Apple Announces The New Apple Watch Series 8 Models and The Highly Anticipated Apple Watch Ultra With Enhanced Durability and a Brand-New Design
In terms of design, the Apple Watch Series 8 has not changed much compared to the previous version. The Apple Watch Series 8 comes with a new temperature detecting sensor for woman’s health. The new temperature sensor is designed for cycle track which is capable of tracking ovulation. The new sensors collect data that can only be shared at your will. The two-sensor design lets you know if you have ovulated in the past. One sensor is located under the display, while the other is situated on the back of the wearable. Apple has always paid attention to privacy, and the latest addition comes with end-to-end encryption. Other than this, the Apple Watch Series 8 also comes with car crash detection. The new Crash Detection feature will call emergency services if you have been in a severe car crash. The gyroscope and accelerometer have been improved with 4 times faster performance. As for the battery life, Apple says that it has an all-day 18-hour battery life but comes with a new low power that can stretch to 36 hours on a full charge. The Apple Watch Series 8 will come in four color options - midnight, starlight, silver, and PRODUCT (Red). The stainless steel variant will be available in silver, gold, and graphite. The Series 8 starts at $399 for the GPS and $499 for the GPS and Cellular model. Apple Watch Ultra Apart from the Apple Watch Series 8, Apple has finally unveiled the highly-anticipated Apple Watch Ultra. Unlike the Apple Watch Series 8, the Apple Watch Ultra features a new design. It consists of new screws and ridges and also comes with an additional button that can be customized for a wide range of functions. It comes with a bigger display, but the shape of the screen is the same as the Series 8. As for the chassis, the Apple Watch features a 49mm titanium case for enhanced durability. The new button and the Digital Crown are designed in a way that can be used with gloves. In addition, you will find Cellular connectivity in every model of the Apple Watch Ultra. It also features a secondary speaker for when you are out on an adventure. In terms of battery life, the Apple Watch Ultra comes with 36 hours of battery on a single charge and can be extended to 60 hours with the help of the new battery optimization setting coming later this year. As for functionality, the Apple Watch Ultra can be customized for mountains, oceans, and trails, as well as Red mode for visibility in the dark. The wearable comes with special bands for various activities, such as the new Alpine loop, Ocean band, and Trail loop. With the new action button, you have the ability to make workout buttons more precise with instant transitions between sports for triathletes. With the low power mode in the Apple Watch Ultra, you can use the GPS for precision GPS and heart rate. The new orienteering view will add waypoints with the action button. The mode will turn on automatically in the background with an 80db siren for emergencies. The Apple Watch Ultra is also designed for watersports and great for recreational scuba diving activities. The company is collaborating with Huish Outdoors for a new Ocean Plus app. It can detect the depth of the water, water temperature, and much more.
